I use 3ds max to make the actual models, Mudbox to pretty them up and Maya to Animate I use another program to improve the animation but It's only for pose-to-pose animation rather than frame-by-frame.
Your comic has a lot of emotion even without that many words. That's why I am very driven to animate this <3
I'm sort of sad that this is the end of the line for this chapter, as I loved your art style and character expressions. I was hoping for there never to be an end to the Next buttons. That being said, you did a really good job with the comic! Especially conveying the characters' personalities through words, expressions and actions.
Yeah! I definitely miss working on this comic! Although it totally fired me up to do one of my own someday! (: Such a fun experience, and I can only hope to work with *Toucat and her awesome writing skills again in the future!
Aww. I like the character development here. At first they were clashing, and now there's a friendship. Going from the previous page, Irving looked despondent when Brain said he could go on without him. On this page, he tries to put a brave face. But as Brian wishes him well, his emotions and expressions change again. There isn't an element of glee in their parting.
As for the art, I like the perspective shots, including the closeup of the faces, as they exchange their last few words. Good choice of angle for the last panel, where Brian comes back for the elephant and Irving leaves into the distance.
