So excited to be back home after the holidays! Spent some quality time with the fam (though never enough time, to be honest) and now I get to catch up on all my internet stuff for awhile, before heading off for another fun vacation soon!

Aside from needing to update here (seems to always be the case!), i'm going to start prepping for my annual Valentines Character sale over at Colonels-Corner, which should be fun! Feels like ages since i've designed new characters ;u; Minus the winter cloverpup who is currently up for auction!
And of course, gonna have to plug Patreon!! I've been completely blown away by how awesome our little squad has been throughout 2017 and i'm so pumped to get back to Shantyland, and hope you'll join us! Even if you can't pledge, it's free to follow along for the occasional update!

Bring the CHILL

I woke up today and it was incredibly chilly!!! I've got a sweater and warm coffee and I am just... SO HAPPY. MY TIME IS HERE. Hopefully it stays like this.. FOREVER. C:
Just popping in with a wee update, since October means INKTOBER! The only magical time of the year that I consistently draw on paper, haha. If you want to follow along with my daily doozies, check out my instagram! It's a shared personal/art account so also expect to see KITTIES, fosters or my own! Hmm! Upcoming Commission thoughts.

So i'm currently in the process of making a fancypants commission site, and I plan to open commission slots soon for all my daring little Patrons braving the swampy wilderness of Shantyland!
I don't open commissions often, but seeing as it's going to be a monthly thing now, I figured I should get some input from YOU, one of my trusty followers here on DA!
And so the question stands! What sort of art would you be most interested in buying from me?
I tend to get stuck doing a lot of refs already, but would love to offer specific types of large art or something.
Perhaps animated turnarounds?!?
Are YCH bases something that could be put up for display on a commission site?!?! :0

I tend to want to overkill it with options, but maybe just the basics (chibis, pagedolls, regular largeart with background options) would be most effective!?
I just want to hear YOUR thoughts though

In other news... Fully moved into our (toucat and I) brand spankin new house! We're fairly settled in, but about to do some big renovations in the upcoming week just to mess up finally being less stressed about the whole process 8D Hello Delaware!
My PATREON is up and running! It was a fun first month (especially since I got to do some inktober specials for patrons!) and it's just going to get better from there! And of course, as the journal pointed out, commission slots will be available for patrons soon!
Even if you want to stop by for a week or two! Shantyland is open to anyone willing to brave it's wild environment and the soggy boots and bugbites that follow.
I'm also finishing up the second Ellie the Wienerdog book! A cute little series about a purple wienerdog who has a lot to teach ya! (intended for young children, but STILL, it's pretty cute!)
It's been a busy last month! I'm gonna be so relieved to have some free time in the next couple weeks! And of course, getting pumped already for thanksgiving and all the delicious food that follows <3
