I know it's been a little quiet over here for the past couple weeks, but that's because I've been working on setting up a Patreon!!
Little late to the game, I guess, but who doesn't fantasize about getting supported to do the things they love?! I think it'll be a pretty fun time for anyone interested! I myself have been having a really awesome time supporting a handful of different artists over there, I like that up-close and personal feel!
Which means october is about to be SO BUSY! Asides from all this art prep for patreon, I'm also in the process of moving to our amazingly adorable new house with Toucat! By late next week i'll be working in my very own little office room! And of course... INKTOBER! So pumped! I did it for the first time last year and had a blast. Those all get posted on my insta account (@serenewyatt) if you want to follow along! It's like the only time of the year I regularly post there, ahaha.
So my first month on patreon is also going to be pretty jam packed with art from inktober, as well as all the new original content that'll be uploaded there! Some of the tiers will sneak you into private stream sessions for requests/redlines and fun stuff like that, and supporters get first dibs on commission slots which will open at the start of each month. It's not highlighted on the page, but any YCH/Adopts also get previewed on patreon first. There are also going to be monthly art jams, so patrons can join in if they so choose! Since it's so new, i'm really hoping to get some feedback on what patrons would be most interested in seeing.
Basically lots of fun stuff, and a really neat theme to boot! The entire patreon is going to revolve around worldbuilding (so non stop concept art, of course!) a planet aptly named Shantyland! It's been a name that's followed me around for years as a sketch-a-day blog, but it's evolved into the home planet for some of my favorite characters, like Gatordog and Scarfy! And you'll be my first brave souls to come explore there!
I know this is all pretty abrupt, but it's set to launch TOMORROW NIGHT! So you can check it out for yourselves! I really hope you'll come take a look, if not join all of us weird swamp folk on Shantyland

So excited to be back home after the holidays! Spent some quality time with the fam (though never enough time, to be honest) and now I get to catch up on all my internet stuff for awhile, before heading off for another fun vacation soon!

I woke up today and it was incredibly chilly!!! I've got a sweater and warm coffee and I am just... SO HAPPY. MY TIME IS HERE. Hopefully it stays like this.. FOREVER. C:
